Very well positioned near the Croydon Tram Link, this house faces directly onto the Tramline in the distance. The client wanted to split their 2-bedroom house into two units so they could allow their ageing parent to move in, but that the parent could have their own private space.

KA-A worked on several feasibility proposals and the one they liked was to split the house and extended into their quite generous garden. The reception room, which is currently roadside would be moved to face the garden where an outdoor writer shed would cocoon a garden space that would allow for BBQ, outdoor alfresco dining and a Bluetooth enable cinema screen. The extension is approximately 6 meters and steeps down into the garden level and creates level access into the garden space.
